Weekly Poll: Is the Clear Bag Policy Effective?

Starting August 19, Texas Tech implemented a “clear bag policy” at all athletic department-sponsored sporting events. According to Tech’s website, the policy will allow fans to enter games without prohibited items at “a much smoother pace.”

Some of these prohibited items include alcohol, drugs, firearms and coolers. Small clutch bags and medically necessary equipment will be exceptions.

Some students feel that the new policy will not stop them from sneaking alcohol and other items into games. The Hub@TTU wants to find out if and how students have snuck things into games before and how students feel about the new policy.
