What Was Once Old is New Again

By Nicolas Lopez

A group of Lubbock retailers offers customers a glimpse into the past with unique antique and vintage wares.

The nine antique shops on 34th Street have dubbed the two mile stretch of road they occupy “Antique Row.”

Louise Plank, The Things We Love owner, said the personal aspect of antique buying allows each store to become its own world and creates a different experience from one store to another.

“You sometimes see an item or two travel from shop to shop, being bought and sold by customers or us, but for the most part, each store is unique,” she said.

This collection of photos gives you a brief look into the Lubbock treasure known as Antique Row.
