Happy 14th Birthday, Chimy’s!

Dear Chimy’s,

Thank you for being there after a long week of classes and assignments.

Thank you for being the spot to see all my friends.

Thank you for extending your hours after home football games.

Thank you for being there through heartache, but most of all, thank you for being my one true love.

No matter the time, like 2 p.m. on a Saturday, you are on my mind. Those delicious, cheap drinks and mouth-watering food make it hard to stay away. No matter how long the line is, I will wait to get inside because you are worth it.

You treat me like family. You even let me charge my phone when I have been there too long. I have to admit, you are by far better than any other bar in Lubbock, Texas. You have enhanced my college experience, and you are something I will never forget.

Once I graduate, I will miss you, but until then, I will be seeing you.

Love,

A Dedicated Regular
