Texas Tech students consider tortillas to be more than just food.
In a game-day tradition, tortillas are launched onto the Jones AT&T Stadium field at kickoff to support the Red Raiders. When Tech faced Texas Christian University on Sept. 26, the referee stopped the game to clarify the difference between a tortilla and a penalty flag.
