“Ordinary Wars” Represents Social Science Through Dance

The Texas Tech University Women’s Studies Program, in cooperation with the Flatlands Dance Theatre, kicked off the 31st Annual Conference on the Advancement of Women at 7 p.m. Thursday with “Ordinary Wars.” The representation of social science data through dance was held at the Louise H. Underwood Center for the Arts in Lubbock. It featured the research of a human development and family studies associate professor, Elizabeth Sharp, and Genevieve Durham DeCesaro, the Department of Theatre and Dance associate chairwoman and head of dance.
