“Ordinary Wars” Represents Social Science Through Dance

The Texas Tech University Women’s Studies Program, in cooperation with the Flatlands Dance Theatre, kicked off the 31^st Annual Conference on the Advancement of Women at 7 p.m. Thursday with “Ordinary Wars.” The representation of social science data through dance was held at the Louise H. Underwood Center for the Arts in Lubbock. It featured the research of a human development and family studies associate professor, Elizabeth Sharp, and Genevieve Durham DeCesaro, the Department of Theatre and Dance associate chairwoman and head of dance.
