In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Laura Duclos and Barbara Garcia have the latest on the news and events happening on and around campus. First, reporter Janet Moreno has a look at a new event here at Tech that brought the community together to celebrate the season. Also, reporter Kahley Paulsel spent last Thursday at the Overton Hotel where a local non-profit group helped some of it’s members strut their stuff in style. Later, we have a look at a couple musical events coming up here in the Hub City – including a recently announced chance to see one of country music’s biggest stars at the United Supermarkets Arena. And many students woke up to a winter wonder wonderland after a 2-hour delay this morning, but will the white stuff be back in the forecast anytime soon?
