On Wednesday afternoon, Tech Activities Board hosted Star Prints as one of the events for homecoming week. Cookies by Design provided their services where eager students create their own designs for their cookie. The event started at 11 a.m. at the Student Union Building Copy Mail and finished at 3 p.m.
Kris King, owner of Cookies By Design in Lubbock, said his company was there to celebrate homecoming week at Texas Tech. Star Prints stayed true to the theme, “Tech Goes Hollywood,” with star and shooting star-shaped cookies for students to design with different colors of frosting. Students like Luke Watson, a senior advertising major, came to the event. Watson said he came to the event since it was between his classes.
