A Chat With Robert Giovannetti: Managing Director Of Public Media At Texas Tech University

Robert Giovannetti is the managing director of public media in the Texas Tech University System, which includes Angelo State University. He was formerly the associate vice chancellor for communications and marketing in the Texas Tech University System. He co-hosted a popular sports radio show for a number of years, and he is the play-by-play announcer for Texas Tech produced shows. He was the sports director and anchor at Fox 34 News and served as president of TPI Productions and CEV Multimedia.

Giovannetti is a graduate of Texas Tech with a B.A. in corporate telecommunications and will receive his M.A. in mass communications in December.
