If you don’t have any thing planned, it might be worth your while to mosey on over to the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts (LHUCA) for a limited engagement you won’t forget.
Metropolis Elektro plays this weekend, a live concert and art event covering the original 1927 film written and directed by Fritz Lang and his wife, Thea Von Harbou. Originally a silent film, this re-imagining of sound and light put together by local artists Scott and Amy Faris promises to amaze.
The first sold-out showing opens tonight at 7pm in the Firehouse theatre (inside LHUCA). Tomorrow’s showing is also at 7pm. BUT WAIT! If you’re a student, come early, whip out your student I.D., and get in for just $10! There are a limited number of tickets so plan on being there early enough to get your spot! These tickets go on sale at 6:45pm Saturday night.
So, really, what are you doing tomorrow night? This is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.
