Campus Crime

Crime reports released by the Texas Tech Police Department for March 5, 2013.

  • A Texas Tech Officer investigated burglary of a vehicle, which occurred in the Z2B parking lot. A black radar detector and approximately $100 dollars of US currency was taken. The divers door was left unlocked.
  • A Texas Tech Officer documented a medical, which occurred in the English Philosophy building. A student passed out due to illness. Emergency Medical Services transported the student to University Medical Center Emergency Room.
  • A Texas Tech Officer investigated a traffic accident, without injuries, which occurred in the C1 parking lot.
  • A Texas Tech Officer investigated unauthorized use of a vehicle, which occurred at the 2500 block of Broadway Street. A non-student drove the vehicle without the owner’s consent. The vehicle was recovered.
  • A Texas Tech Officer documented a medical, which occurred in the Law School Building. A student fainted. Emergency Medical Services transported the student to University Medical Center Emergency Room.
  • A Texas Tech Officer investigated theft, which occurred at Horn Residence Hall.  A hair dryer and a DVD were taken.
  • A Texas Tech Officer investigated theft, which occurred at the Talkington Residence Hall.  An unsecured laptop computer and a wallet were taken
  • A Texas Tech Officer arrested a non-student for an outstanding Lubbock Sheriff Department warrant, following observed suspicious activity in the C17 parking lot. The non- student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail.
