Campus Crime Report: March 19

Crime reports released by the Texas Tech Police Department for March 19, 2013.

  • A Texas Tech Officer arrested a non-student for one outstanding Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office warrant, following a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Broadway Street. The non-student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail and the vehicle was impounded by Lubbock Wrecker Service.
  • A Texas Tech Officer investigated theft, which occurred at the west bicycle rack of Weymouth Residence Hall. A secured red Mongoose bicycle and lock were taken.
  • A Texas Tech Officer responded to a medical, which occurred at the Texas Tech Main Library. A non-student had a seizure and was transported by Emergency Medical Services to the University Medical Center Emergency Room for treatment.
  • A Texas Tech Officer investigated a traffic accident, without injuries, which occurred in the Z3-E parking lot.
  • A Texas Tech Officer investigated theft, which occurred at the Texas Tech Main Library.  An unsecured Apple Ipod and headphones were taken.
  • A Texas Tech Officer investigated graffiti, which occurred in the 1st floor men’s restroom of the Texas Tech Main Library. Markings were made on the floor and walls with an indelible marker and spray paint.
