In January of 2011, then Tech running back, Baron Batch traveled to Haiti with a relief aid group. The trip fell on the anniversary of the 2010 earthquake that devastated the country and left hundreds of thousands dead. The rebuilding process is ongoing through the efforts of hundreds of non-profit organizations. Batch spent the trip with Dr. Kerry Reeves, a man who, in 2009, moved his family to Haiti, and opened an orphanage. This is his story.
